Sodium Ascorbate is buffered (non-acidic) and will not contribute to gastric irritation in acid-sensitive persons. Sodium Ascorbate is synthesized from a combination of Sodium Bicarbonate and Ascorbic Acid to form Sodium Ascorbate. NOW Sodium Ascorbate Powder is an inexpensive buffered form of Vitamin C and is Pharmaceutical Grade. Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients.

Suggested Usage: Take 1/2 level teaspoon daily.
